I think it’s high time we take back the national narrative. For centuries Americans of all races, genders, religions, and abilities have worked to create a more perfect union, and we should shout from the rooftops that WE are America. Not these idiot white supremacist authoritarians.

Monroe ancestors: left are 2nd great-grandparents Charles and Flora Monroe & family c.1890, and right are 1st great-grandparents Charles and Ethel Monroe c.1901. Wish I could trace back to Scotland but I've hit a dead end at my 4th great-grandfather Reuben Monroe d. 1844 in New York. #genealogy

My book collection when I moved 10 years ago. Fewer print books now, replaced by a couple hundred digital books. Of course this doesn't include the books I borrow from my local library. It's not hoarding when it's books. 😁
