Approximately 20 members of Elon Musk’s staff have begun working within the Education Department. They have gained access to multiple sensitive internal systems, including a financial aid dataset containing the personal information of millions of students enrolled in the federal student aid program.

Without public knowledge, Elon Musk is serving as a “special government employee” under President Donald Trump, with access to sensitive information (including your SSN) and broad authority granted by Trump.

Reminder to Elon:
- SGEs are subject to the same ethics standards as other federal employees.
- SGEs must comply with conflict of interest laws.
- SGEs must file a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.

- SGEs are limited to providing services for up to 130 days in a 365-day period.
- SGEs are prohibited from acting as an agent or attorney before the government.
- SGEs must not participate in matters affecting their personal financial interests.

Billionaire Elon Musk has stated that work is underway to shut down the U.S. foreign aid agency, USAID. Officials have been instructed not to report to work and have been locked out of the building.

A witch hunt has begun at the FBI. Employees are required to provide information by Tuesday and are being encouraged to report on their coworkers. The FBI questionnaire asks agents about their roles in various cases, including whether they made arrests or appeared in court, among other details.
