according to baseball savant he's the 9th slowest pitcher with runners on. He's slow, but not awful with no one on. Doesn't help he's had bad control all year which I imagine leads to a lot of long AB's as well

Watched Ace in the Hole last night. A nasty piece of work about sensationalism and the craven people who feed off of it. Good stuff! However, I couldn't get over a scene where the Sheriff feeds a rattlesnake while he eats lunch. As if this has ever been a normal thing that happens in New Mexico

Went to a movie today and this was how it was presented. Amazing how little quality control comes from theaters nowadays. This does a complete disservice to the film and the audience.
*I never take my phone out in theaters but I was literally the only person here and only took this one photo

This movie is impossible to find on physical media. Pumped that it's on Criterion rn. One of my favorite NYC films. A wonderful story that understands the odd tug of war between isolation and community that exists in the city, further amplified coming from an immigrant POV. A great friendship film
