There's an argument that if you have to watch it that many times, and it clearly is knee to knee first then foot to ball after, it's not a clear and obvious error.
Kevin hits Saka's knee first before he gets a small touch on the ball, but that's probably going to be overturned.

Refs being persuaded they're wrong is extremely not why VAR exists*

Jurrien Timber booked because the Manchester United ball crew couldn't get the ball to him.

Neat.

What a night, what a performance from this far from 100% team, one of the great European nights at the Emirates.

Declan Rice has produced two of the greatest free kicks you'll ever see at this level, and we 100% deserved that third goal too.

Incredible. This team deserves so much love. #arsenal

@raskin.house.gov: "The whole anti-corruption crusade is an absolute fraud. They started by decimating the ranks of the inspectors general. These are the people whose job is actually, day in and day out, 365 days a year, to ferret out waste, fraud and abuse in the departments and the agencies."

He WANTS to send Arsenal players off.
When you think of the Kovacevic challenges a couple of years ago where one was a yellow and the 2nd wasn't because Oliver didn't want to ruin the game. The double standards are obvious.

Raya was booked in the first half at Palace for time wasting. Comparing that to what’s happening here is exasperating. We need a more objective measure for time wasting, the refs are too dumb not to be governed by narrative on this.

If we called accidental contact in the box that was possibly a foul nonetheless, might I direct everyone's attention to Gabriel getting whacked down on a corner in the first half?
Accidentally head butting someone is still a foul and it took place in the box. We’d want that penalty. It’s frustrating in the context of how the game has been called, but it’s arguably the right call.

Smash into the keeper when he's already got the ball? No big deal.

Foul a player from behind to stop a counter? Not a problem.

But you better not stand over a corner for too long. That's what is really ruining the game!

If you want to understand why healthcare pricing is horrific, the first thing to know is that our system puts 100% of the credit risk for deductibles, copays and co-insurance on hospitals and doctors. That's insane.

We have turned them into Sub Prime Lenders 🧵

The Offside Law desperately needs changing in the VAR era.

It was designed to prevent cherry-picking / goal-hanging not to chalk off goals for having the very tip of your toe beyond the last defender.

Every time this has been tested it’s been a phenomenal success.

Give money to people who need money. Give jobs to people who need jobs.
Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.
