When you choose to bowdlerize words on Bsky, it just breaks people's filters. If you type "r*pe" it means that anyone who has a filter to block the word "rape" still sees your post. Knock it off!

Yes, @thefamouspaul.bsky.social , a fat raccoon can bend this style of feeder pole, and the squirrel baffle is only moderately good at keeping them away. Most of my other feeders are on WBU APS poles with raccoon baffles, but the raccoons haven't bothered this one since we moved out of the city.

College kiddo caught it for the first time last month. Hardly any pharmacies are still carrying Paxlovid. Walgreens has it, but you'll probably still need to call around to find it. Our local Wags had received a package the previous day and already dispensed it at 1 pm.

...shocking amount of calories while healing, and you will wake up in the middle of the night so hungry it hurts. Things like granola bars, crackers, Ensure, applesauce, etc that you can put within reach so you don't have to wake up enough to go to the kitchen are really helpful. I lost 20 lb!

If you have pets who like to snuggle, I recommend strategic pillow placement to keep one of them from stepping on the wrong spot while you're asleep. (One of my cats never did figure out what spot was off limits. The other did fine.)

...enough by then to request more pillows, and I put them under my knees, then reclined head to 30-45 degrees or so.

At home, I slept in a recliner with 2 pillows raising my knees above my hips, a U-shaped travel pillow to support my neck & chin, and 2 pillows on either side of my torso...

Do you have any specific questions? Most hospital beds do this, allowing you to raise the knee and head. My final night in the second time I was in, I was in a room with a bed that looked like it should do this, but the knee couldn't actually be raised above the hip. Fortunately, I was coherent...
