The people saying we live in "techno-feudalism" or "corporate feudalism" are wrong. They either have no idea what feudalism was or are bougie sycophants who cannot tolerate tarnishing the name of their precious capitalism. The only further option is that they are both.

If cops can seize a homeless person from the street in California or New York, & forcibly transport them to a psych ward where they'll be held against their will indefinitely, don't be naive enough to think you will always be exceptional to this kind of thing being a threat to you in your own life.

If you aren't including decolonial theory in your analysis as a Marxist in the so-called United States, then you cannot call yourself one. The US is OBJECTIVELY a colonial state, that is a pretty large material reality to ignore. Doing so is at best revisionism, but it is probably worse than that.

Words can barely describe just how unhinged twitter has become. Some former friends of mine have gone all the way down the far-right extremist pipeline and everyone sounds like a lunatic. So incredibly disappointed in many people I used to talk to.

“Deplatforming Nazis makes the Nazi problem worse” is demonstrably wrong. There’s endless evidence and studies and data and proof that not giving Nazis a platform and forcing them into silent obscurity works to fight the Nazi problem. Anyone saying otherwise just likes Nazis.
