I love Expedition 33, but this is absolutely the right thing to do. Good games shouldn't get a pass for using the plagiarism machine.
Sending AI "Concept art" Tells the artist, 1 you don't value what your making enough to spend 10 mins developing it, and 2 you value the artists work so little you'll use something stealing from them.
