It does not matter what style or subject you like to draw. The only thing that matters is drawing CONSTANTLY. Being embarrassed of drawing anime or furry fanart is a waste of your energy. As long as you draw everyday you WILL improve, fuck what your high school art teacher says.

Right now, I'm thinking I grew up admiring a digital artist who, for some reason, perhaps "pushing back against the pushback" decided they were getting back to HP in 2020's and that's... Disappointing to say the least. Laughable, to say the least.

People create more when their lives are stable and they are happy and therefore, able to sit down and focus on being creative because they don't have to worry about Every Other Little Thing. People under extreme stress are much less likely to do that because they have other things to prioritize.

At some of my darkest moments, I'm back to craving for that mindless scroll experience of Twitter/X.
Thankfully...? I've been living day by day in a way that's fulfilling enough to not have those dark moments turn in my mind 24/7.
But oh boy, it does gets too close sometimes.

I don't know exactly who to blame but I'll never forgive that we don't call them "programs" anymore. so much cooler than app or site. also that we stopped using mini discs. who is making these decisions dang it.
