嗯，纽时的评论审查团队也不容易。但是我已经很久不订阅纽时了。纽时对我来说根本不“左”，只能说是有时还能接受的“右”。
not weighing in on the op-ed itself, but I do wanna add a labor perspective. all of NYT’s comments are moderated by union staffers (who often bear the brunt of abuse & frustration meant for writers). not all articles have comments open & they get turned off when moderators move to other stories.
This whole thing is incredibly tone deaf. And you can tell that nobody thought this through: after more than 2000 comments, the New York Times turned off comments.

海因里希•哈勒（Heinrich Harrer）因著《西藏七年》（Seven Years in Tibet）闻名世界。这本书被译三十多种文字，仅汉文译本就有两种：一是1986年西藏人民出版社出版的《西藏奇遇》，一是1997年台湾大块文化出版的《西藏七年与少年达赖》。
我曾将中国译本与台湾译本做过对照，惊讶地发现出入很大，中国译本有添油加醋的，也有故意删减的，甚至到了妄为的地步。之所以如此篡改，是为了借哈勒之口，来妖魔化西藏文化与西藏历史上的政治制度，并给中文读者制造出连这样一位与西藏密切的西方人都对西藏抱有鄙夷的印象。而据通晓德文原著的朋友阅读台湾译本，认为台湾译本才是如实翻译。看截图。
