Amateur Titanic Historian, Baseball Nerd, and Simpsons quoter. I make money by giving you stuff you don't want every day. The United States Postal Service does not sanction or endorse anything I have to say about anything ever.
There's no rule saying you cant just create your own new phrase that's extremely close to, and oft confused with, a more common one!

I think it was more like a lot of college students who go in with one passion or major in mind, but have a different one by the time they graduate.

I'm sure the aviator car selfie dudes were previously just kicking down the doors of broadway to see the musical about Henry VIII's wives being the Spice Girls or whatever.

Lol I think that might have been my immediate thought the very first time I ever got an address confirmation request letter from a government agency. "Really? You just wanna wing it by going off my memory? Don't you have like satellites and wiretaps and shit?"

Not to give them much credit, but agencies like county sheriffs, CPS, etc usually go through us to verify someone still lives at an address before they just...show up. ICE simply don't give a shit about being wrong because there's no consequence and, hey, you got to hassle a non-white person

I think these two in particular it genuinely is a pretty utilitarian arrangement and there don't seem to be any trust issues, but at the same time...Big Ick factor. You can just sometimes not know where your partner is exactly and that's fine! Roam free!

A good friend of my wife and I shares her location with her husband at all times and vice versa, and I remember when we first found out we just looked at each other like "what the fuck?" and when we were alone we just both said "so we're never doing that, right?"

Ever consider why Siskel died young?

I feel like the entire broadcast team and officiating squad just gaslit us by not even acknowledging it

I want come clarification here on "possession." Are they asking if I'm a gun owner who also has a little weed baggie tucked in a drawer somewhere, or if, as I'm responding to these questions, I've got a Beretta and bandolier strapped to me while I take long drags on a joint?

Do you have any idea how many times I've had people bitch at me about being a waste of taxpayer money (not even true!), or been told that we (the government) can't do anything right? And I'm not even kidnapping and shooting their neighbors!

That "I get where Weiss is coming from" line toward the end is such nonsense. She wasn't trying to "exhaust all avenues." She fundamentally either didn't understand how journalism actually works, wanted the story buried, or both.
