Setting sun? Nope, this is local apparent noon in the #NorwegianSea. It's the first time in nearly a week that ole Sol has blessed us with their presence and the rays felt fantastic on my skin.
The sun hangs about 1.5 sun diameters above the horizon. There are high cirrus clouds and distant fat nimbus clouds with some scattered rain further towards the horizon. The water is dark blue with seas average 2.5m.

#Norway is simply built different. I don't know that I'll ever get over the sheer beauty of it's geology and geography. Mountains of long ago worn down to expose folds, rents and tears from a time before thought existed.
A hill sits in the distance with calm water between. The hill is smoothed and low from eons of weathering.
