One thing that I’ve become increasingly certain of over the course of this year:
As an academic, I do not have (and never will have) a responsibility to teach students to use Gen AI ‘ethically’ (as if that were possible).
The idea that academics should be doing this is a blight on the sector.

The answer is present in the images. There are too many people in humanities (those who might have major concerns of our collective future and political capabilities) and not enough people building us the utopian future (advancing the billionaire dreams of silicon slaves and mass unemployment).

If a black student recorded the racist comments of their classmates I promise you that university would bring all their disciplinary powers down on that student. Zionists get a special dispensation. Everyone should ask why.
