We've managed to push down the memory usage of the TPU QUIC networking stack in Agave (Solana validator) from 2.6GB to 124MB. All of that just by using the `bytes` crate consequently and utilizing its zero-copy capabilities.

I can't even.

Never in my life did I imagine we would witness such utter contemptuous behavior from the leaders of the most powerful country in the world.

Absolutely disgraceful.

And exceptionally emblematic of how utterly misguided we are as a country.

We are asking Ukrainians to defeat the armies of Putin and Kim Jong Un. In their efforts to do so, Ukrainians helped bring down Assad. Ukrainian resistance is one of the most stunning military achievements in modern history.

"I'm getting an arm64 NAS."
"Oh so like a low end Synology?"
"Uhhhhhh... a 64-core Ampere Altra."

As Ben Cox put it, continuing in my well-known tradition of having absolutely freak show computers.

(I have Reasons and they are FIPS related, which makes it even sillier IMHO.)

I started a blog/website. For now it has one article (an old one, from Deepfence blog, featured on TWIR, now corrected a bit and with syntax highlighting, duh). Hopefully I'll keep posting there.
