Why do I still feel this vague sense of guilt as pretty much the only motivation to make a plan and celebrate holidays? We didn't practice conflict in my family, just a ton of work pretending to have a good time so as not to disappoint each other

I'm trying to set a rule for myself to post before scrolling. Not being to concerned about the quality of the posts is key. Just loosening up the text-voice.

"Seeing Like a State" continues to blow my mind, claiming large scale plantation agriculture is usually *less efficient* than small independent farms in terms of material output relative to investment. Economic production is less important than creating conditions for centralized control.
