If the world seems too overwhelming and you want to die, remember that you’ve already done the suffering. Do not let them win. Write, sing, fucking fight until your last breath. You are not the final generation to exist. plant a tree for the future from which you will never enjoy the fruit

When you omit "A Black man is getting a standing ovation in the Deep South for breaking a record of an all-time baseball idol," you completely alter what Scully was describing as "marvelous." Scully was NOT just broadly marveling. He was marveling at a very specific, very important thing.

This was Vin Scully's call of Henry Aaron's 715th home run. Tonight Major League Baseball cut off the first sentence, starting it with the "What a marvelous moment" part because they don't want to anger the white supremacists who run our country and of whom Rob Manfred is an ardent supporter.

It’s actually very based for a tip-of-the-spear warfighter to get scotch sweats through their suits while bobbing around doing the Gob Bluth “so, uh, should, should, should, sh-should” thing on an 8am media hit about why they posted classified attack plans in the comments of a Pioneer Woman recipe

Martin O'Malley just mentioned state attorneys general filing state kidnapping charges. Just imagine the collective cheer in this country if state troopers pulled over, arrested and cuffed a van full of masked ICE fascists.

If you don't want to see this horrible garbage happen in every future high-stakes election, make sure it demonstrably fails in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race by helping elect Susan Crawford

remember all the conspiracy theories that billionaire George Soros was using his vast wealth to influence our elections?
Mark, since I know you are watching I need you to know that we have archives of everything. Scrubbing your accounts now, while very funny, is just more proof of what we already knew. If you want to comment you can unblock and talk with us :)

i'm sorry, like, this is not what they intended, they had no intentions, they have been desperately trying to work out what the hell they are doing for years. Framing these companies as deeply strategic/like they have a master plan gives them power. They're lost!
Wow the exact thing genAI creators intended, for their users to become psychologically dependent and chemically addicted to their product, is happening, who could have seen this coming

this is also why it’s important for counter-messaging to regularly emphasize their fundamentally bankrupt value system and incurious intellects. they’re bad at their jobs and more people should say it!
The most obvious lesson to draw from the leaked Signal chat is that these people really are morons. It's not a public act, it's not a schtick, there's not some secret back room where they drop the facade. They are genuinely stupid, incompetent people.

Jessica: When I hear Republicans out there talking about their plan for education in America, I don't hear them talking about making sure disabled kids have access to a public education.
Greg: Because we're against it.
