In de Kamer hangt donderdag al de hele dag een crisissfeer omdat NSC niet kan leven met een aangenomen amendement van de PVV. Dat stelt niet alleen illegaliteit strafbaar, maar ook mensen die hulp bieden aan illegalen, bijvoorbeeld door middel van vrijwilligerswerk.

Wat een enorm gekluns in de Tweede Kamer. Waar is onze ruggengraat als samenleving? Waar is idee van "basic decency"? Hoe kunnen partijen die fatsoen en staatsrechtelijkheid prediken instemmen met zo'n gedrocht van een wet. Wat een bizar gemarchandeer.

These incremental spacing schedules were proposed by Jost in 1897. However, the lack of uptake is partially due to individual variability: The optimal scheme is different for every learner. A good learner can do with much wider spacing than someone who has a hard time - adaptivity is necessary.

I think it's more subtle than that. "Immediate gratification" sounds as if they are not doing the right thing, whereas they are. We tell them to score well on their schoolwork, and they do by cramming declarative knowledge. We should move to other methods to evaluate their mastery of such knowledge.
