It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

Watching this video from a few months ago from @moreperfectunion.bsky.social I’ve always been a tech optimist. These last few years have taken that from me. Only furthers the exploitation and harm. https://youtu.be/m7_WDzPyoqU?si=Urwk-E6Y7HS1uG61

Trump's IRS chief finally said IRS Direct File is "gone." Intuit lobbied hard against free federal filing for years.

Here's Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi defending that record in a Decoder interview last year. Intuit later asked us to cut this part. We refused.

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

Not totally opposed to our government modernizing. It does matter, though, who is installing these technologies.

I don’t know. Most of the teachers I know make nothing near that. But, here’s a thought, maybe if we paid teachers more and made the profession prestigious in some way, maybe some great talent would join the classroom instead of running away.
California teachers make 6 figures on average. Now they demand more.

AI should complement, not replace, human intelligence. The Vatican reminds us to celebrate all that makes us human—including our creativity, ethics, and ability to build amazing tools. There’s no contradiction in my mind between AI and Catholic faith.

AI is itself a product of human intelligence, not an equal or superior form of intelligence, the document stresses.
