I find it remarkable that Ross Douthat gets to publish his intellectually prepubescent maunderings in the NY Times.
If his current editorial—itself a promo for his forthcoming book—had been turned in by an undergrad in a philosophy course, I would have said.
"Revise; this time with an argument."
