True, it adds to the list of grievances. Though their use of Franklin is also a war on empathy - which is a Canadian value (one we aspire to, but sometimes fall short of). Those are the stakes.

I had no idea that Franklin was a Canadian character. Even if he weren’t, appropriating a children’s book character to make light of the murders of innocent people would be disgusting. But this just adds to the endless shit list Canada now has on us.
