Listening to a soundscape called Medieval Library and it has a mechanical clock ticking away. I thought there's no way that's historically accurate.

"The earliest mechanical clocks appeared in Europe in the 13th and 14th centuries."

So, yes. It's historically accurate, and I learned something new.

How many times do I need to disable PayPal's auto-login option for it to stop periodically re-enabling it?

I never said this was a trusted device. I turned off the master setting that claims it disables all auto-login.

Was looking up Cinzel last night for Book Cover Purposes (no, I'm not using Cinzel, I had Other Good Reasons).

Anyway, now I'm wondering how long Google Fonts has been using the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights as their sample text.

All that reading to the kids before bed has paid off. Now they read ME a bedtime story most nights.

Here's 6yo's pick, a chapter a night. Some of the words are a little challenging (musician, excitement, huge) but she's sounding them out and cheers when she gets them right.

Wet socks are the absolute worst. I do it to poor Shane, too. (His socks were wet for almost the entire book, minus about fifteen minutes after he changed them. By book two, he's started packing extras in his pockets. 😂)

He punched in his code to override the door, waving the siblings toward the corridor. “I’ll join you in a bit.”

“What are you going to do?” Jeb asked, narrowing his eyes at Shane as his sister pushed past him into the hallway.

“Need another favor from Feels,” Shane said quietly, rubbing at the locket. “Then a quick trip to raid Laundry.”

“Laundry?”

Shane raised one of the legs of his overalls, fixing Jeb with a stare as if the answer should be obvious. “My socks are still wet.”
