The amount is meaningless — less than one day of salary. But the principle is important: once the armed services are paid by the oligarchs, they become a private militia, and we no longer have a country.

ICE has been paying private security for 24/7 guards to watch a guy with no record whose leg they fucked up so badly he has been in a hospital for over a month, and we wonder why people were handing Tom Homan bags of cash.

A friend at the gym thought it was suspiciously coincidental that a nuclear power plant was approved for the hill country in May and now land has been cleared by the floods. SHEESH! Conspiracy theory much?!?!? And the proposed expansion is in Seadrift, not the hill country.

TX officials blame an inaccurate forecast by NWS for the deadly results of the flood, incl girls still missing from a camp. In the time of climate change we need better weather prediction from fed’l resources, not the dramatic cuts Trump/Musk have imposed. joycevance.substack.com/p/when-the-c...

Killing children by denying aide isn't genocide? Maybe not technically but it feels like it.
Musk here isn’t simply being stupid.

He’s purposely defining Nazism down. The claim that there weren’t Nazis until, in effect, 1939, is ridiculous—but it is an attempt to stop people from correctly calling out elements of Nazism today as long as or until there’s not an actual world war or genocide.
Elon Musk says that as long as you aren't "committing genocide and starting wars" you are "not a Nazi"
