Last night we went Christmas shopping at a Night Market in Culver City. They had great, unique gifts (including a young woman with a typewriter who wrote custom poems for $10). It felt so good spending our money on local artists who are just happy for the business and don’t want to control the world

I know I come off as a pretentious luddite, and I suppose I am, but I really do see the value LLM tech brings to people with learning disabilities, neurodivergence, etc. However, the fact is, it's brought to us via stealing/plagiarism and at great detriment to our planet. So, WOOF.
