The direction for the thurifer was “run down that corridor with the thurible, go through the door to the outside, and wait for everyone else to catch up before resuming your place in the procession.”

@annarailton.bsky.social This has gone very quiet... is it still going through the process? The field is starting to get muddy and for most of the winter it won't be suitable for cycling or 'normal' footwear... #donningtoncyclepath

Someone has stolen the key to the Aumbry at church. Until the locksmith breaks into it we don't know if they also stole the reserved sacrament or not. Which means that currently we have Schroedinger's Reserved Sacrament. Until we can confirm it either way, Jesus both IS and IS NOT in there.

Larkrise has low traffic neighbourhoods covering almost all of its catchment. (And in this case we can observe the effects of infrastructure directly: the introduction of low traffic neighbourhoods in 2021-2022 increased Larkrise's cycling modal share from 23% to 41%.)

1 YEAR OF 20MPH

There were around 100 fewer people killed / seriously injured on 20/30mph roads.

Casualties from July-Sept was the lowest Q3 figures in Wales since records began.

Over the year the number of casualties on 20/30mph roads is 28% lower than the year before.

Good policy making.

My favorite (pre-enshittification) Google seach that I ever did was when I wanted to know how long Teresa May had been prime minister, so I asked "how long was Teresa May PM" and it told me 1.72 x 10^12.

Which is correct!

It's her length. In picometers (pm). Which is technically what I asked for.
