It is obvious that what we were taught in the military - to stay out of politics - is no longer being taught. In fact, partisan politics openly backing Trump are now being encouraged. Good luck getting a promotion over the next 3.5 years unless you are demonstrably pro-Trump.

‼️ This is absolutely absurd. Trump is actively manufacturing a crisis. The Pentagon just announced that he’s federalizing another 2,000 California National Guard troops bringing the total to 4,000, plus 700 active-duty Marines heading into LA. This is a military occupation, not public safety.
