I discovered yesterday, in a mass email sent at 3am, that I will not be receiving the roughly £40,000 that my publisher Unbound/Boundless owes me for pre-order sales of The Paradox Paradox. The payment for five years of work, gone.

#unboundless
Authors published by the crowdfunding publisher Unbound will not receive historic royalty payments for sales of their books, unless Boundless, the new publisher founded following Unbound going into administration, "survives and thrives" 👇 #BookSky
Unbound authors will not receive unpaid royalty payments until new publisher Boundless 'is cash stable'

Obviously the next step is to quote repost this.
I read a report on a news website now about backlash to an angry reaction to a report on an opposition website about a celebrity who clapped back at a social media post by another celebrity about something they may or may not have imagined. And here I am telling you about it.
What a time to be alive

Today’s historic pic: Melbourne W7 class tram 1028 on route 10 at Richardson St in Mills St, Middle Park, November 26 1988. Forty W7s were built in 1955/56 for newly opened Bourke Street lines in the lead up to the 1956 Olympic Games. 1028 was withdrawn in 1996, just the second W7 to be withdrawn.

A side-project I've been working on for the past couple of years is finally presentable!

I find cab ride videos relaxing to watch, and they provide an interesting view of different landscapes and infrastructure, so I made this site as a collection of cab rides with maps of the routes

I am enjoying some well earned time off from work finally after years being involved in a very time consuming special project. Started my time off suffering from COVID and having to prepare for a lost cyclone! I want a refund.
