That guy
The current list of black men to win #USOpen singles:

Arthur Ashe

That's the list.

Felix is chasing serious history as well as Jannik Sinner in this semifinal.

Helluva set or major ATP-side plot twist? #USOpen Auger-Aliassime tires it up vs. Sinner

I'll be honest, I'm excited about the new look mixed doubles at the US Open as a bold test case. That said, this event has taken all of the oxygen from Winston-Salem, Monterrey and Cleveland. I would've be excited if I were running events the week prior to the other majors.

Jim Courier just called for Challenger level tournaments to trial 2 sets plus a match tiebreaker, before potentially shifting tour events to that format, to solve the growing attention issues in #tennis. I could not agree more! Matches shouldn't be endurance tests for fans.

Agreed, fail fast and change course
Look, we tried it, it’s failed, now stop.

The extended masters format is a bad idea

👎 The tournaments drag on
👎 Players are breaking down
👎 Fans are fatigued
👎 Finals are scheduled on weekdays 👎 One tournament is running into the other

Enough

This schedule is ridiculous, why would we have a Thursday finish in Canada, and the first rounds starting in Cincy. Not a fan of the 12 day masters, not one iota

If you don't have a speech impediment and you don't know how to pronounce Iga Swiatek's name, how about you don't work for Tennis Channel?

It was just guts and gumption that got Mboko over the line in Montreal tonight. What a battle vs Rybakina

The Carlos Alcaraz experience: 15 minutes of sublime, otherworldly play followed by 10 minutes of THIS guy won five majors?!?
July 13, 2025 at 4:59 PM
People who know I love tennis always ask if I'm going to the final. I usually pass on buying those tickets because this kind of whitewashing is as much a possibility as a Sincaraz at Roland Garros instant classic.

Guess who missed the fact that the Wimbledon singles finals were shifted back to 11...

Amanda Anisimova! What a comeback!

Four American women will have played in the finals of the last four #tennis major tournaments. Some enterprising businessperson needs to put an exhibition tour together during the "off-season" to take advantage of the women's sports boom in the US.

My two biggest pet peeves in tennis: Wimble-tin and unranked vs. unseeded. When ESPN updates call World No. 76 Marin Cilic unranked, I shake my head WAY too hard for my health

I'll just reiterate...
Wimbledon is now the outlier. With just five weeks of grass court tennis on the calendar, this is now the event most likely to deliver surprise champions. The tournament's gravitas is what's maintained its relevance.

If Barbora Krejcikova ended her career today, would she be a Hall of Famer? 2 singles majors, career doubles slam, Olympic gold, No. 2 singles ranking...on paper, I'd say she's a shoo-in. Thoughts? #Wimbledon

In a battle of WTA title winners during the grass lead-up, Berlin champ Marketa Vondrousova beats Nottingham champ #32 McCartney Kessler 6-1, 7-6(3).

Vondrousova, the 2023 #Wimbledon champ, likely gets Raducanu next, then #1 Sabalenka.

There have been easier paths!

Super tough #Wimbledon opener for defending champ, Barbora Krejcikova. She already pulled out of Eastbourne with injury now draws the fast-rising Alex Eala in rd.1 at the AELTC, wow

With Alcaraz (22) and Gauff (21) winning the their French Open categories, tennis is making a graceful transition from Nadal/Fed and the Williams sisters to the next generation of legends.

We started this tournament honoring the greatest #RolandGarros champion has ever seen in #Nadal and end it with perhaps the greatest match the tournament has ever seen. #Alcaraz d. #Sinner

Fire up the tattoo gun, Carlos Alcaraz retains the #RolandGarros title!
