I see so many diverse ideologies when I go to protests. Capitalist business owners against the tariffs. Socialist laborers against the deportations. Communist revolutionaries against everything. Non-aligned people who are just fed up with what the regime is doing. They actually managed to unite us.

The Glen Canyon Dam did this. I’ve been there. The river flow has been so much weaker ever since it went up.
So we should admit and accept, up front, that the Colorado never was and never will be a mighty river system, and that it is climate-challenged and prone to drought. We never should have asked it for so much. We invaded it like cancer, turning water into property. I wish it wasn’t so. (From 2023)
