“This is disgusting,” said state Rep. Mandie Landry. “As a taxpayer and Catholic, it doesn’t make any sense to me why the Saints would go to these lengths to protect grown men who raped children. All of them should have been just as horrified at the allegations.”

NFL emails reveal extent of Saints’ damage control for clergy sex abuse crisis | CNN
As New Orleans church leaders braced for the fallout from publishing a list of predatory Catholic priests, they turned to an unlikely ally: the front office of the city’s NFL franchise.

Lately, SCOTUS' approach to abortion-related speech is that anti-abortion advocates have First Amendment rights and abortion providers/proponents do not. So "crisis pregnancy centers" can lie to patients, but real doctors cannot refuse to give patients anti-abortion propaganda pushed by the state.

I love when I request needed public info, like communications between a state Senator and an anti-abortion lobbyist, and I'm only allowed to see 24 of 109 documents.

What are they talking about that I can't see?👀 Are they writing more of our anti-abortion policies? (see third pic; my reporting)

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.

I brought my nephew to the #Mufasa movie; the messaging was great. Overall, it shows kids how strong we all are when we stand FOR & WITH each other.

Now we’re watching Shrek Forever After for the first time. Fiona leading the resistance! I nearly cried. 🏆

Balance to the hate they see in the news.

Republicans are so good at the long game. (This applies in Louisiana as well.) Astounding. #lalege
The final House results have now landed as 220-215 for the GOP. That means the House majority came down to the 3 NC seats the GOP flipped thanks to its brand new gerrymander.

And that gerrymander hinged on NC's supreme court flipping in 2022.

Louisiana deserves better! Diapers are a necessity, not a luxury.

With 2/3 of babies born to mothers on Medicaid and 24% of children in poverty, it's time to restore the diaper tax exemption.

I finally decided to use this account. My Twitter feed is unusable. It’s pure garbage: the electronic equivalent of junk mail.

I don’t mean opposing views. The content is all trash & anonymous accounts. Sad, because so many people basically watched the news there. I guess that’s the point 🥺
