Brilliant work
I’m being asked a LOT if the excellent exhibition book that assembles the main content, including my writing + the profiles of the 34 cities, can be purchased on-line & shipped. So far it’s just sold at the Exhibition but your interest might make them think that…cc @paris.fr @annehidalgo.bsky.social

Superb - Portland???
PARIS: In the last 20 years, 44ha of Paris car parking has been transformed, making room for wider sidewalks, bikes & buses (15ha), bike racks, EV spots, accessible space, & 2.2K new patios/terraces for outdoor dining. 90% of Paris trips are via walking, biking & transit. Portland @pbotinfo.bsky.social we can do this too
Remember this? “Paris voters opted in a referendum to close 500 more city streets to cars, making way for pedestrians, bikers & greenery. The plan…will expand on a green push by Mayor @annehidalgo.bsky.social that has already seen 300 streets planted and cleared of cars since 2020.”

Leadership.
Paris Votes to Make 500 More Streets Car-Free

Air pollution has dropped significantly in #Paris in the last 15 years as a result of a deliberate strategy. Mayor @annehidalgo.bsky.social’s leadership has traded car space for green space, safe bike space, kid space.. and traded pollution for people.

Good trade.
