Blue angelfish gives me the side-eye from a tank in the NC Aquarium, Pine Knoll Shores.
A blue angelfish looks askance at having its picture taken. The fish is blue-gray in color with touches of bright yellow on fins, scales, and around the eye. Smaller fish swim in the background.

I love them, too. This one is a favorite because it's like entering the world of the photographer's grandmother.

WIP: We put up a sort of rural pergola (lg umbrella would work), shade cloth, and pulled out odds & ends of tables & chairs + old pew. Spouse made the barn quilts for the brick wall.

Recently got my grandmother's Bible, and the stuff inside was amazing. Notations, underlining, and she even glued in a little card with a seashell attached I'd used on a Christmas gift to her. A pristine book has no soul.

Ohhhh. I've finally found my people. I have a few artifacts found on our family farm, much cruder than this but amazingly evocative.
Small point knapped from dark gray-green stone, cleanly broken on left edge, found in a creek in central North Carolina. The point is balanced on the tip of a finger.

Reminds me of silk collagist Billie #Zangewa. Saw her exhibit "Field of Dreams" in Miami (FIU) early this year.
