Marjorie Taylor Greene's resigning in time to get a pension is a lesson to everyone.

Most Americans don't get *any* pension anymore, but Congress gave itself a pension after only five years of work.

Our "representatives" aren't working for us, they are [barely] working for themselves.

Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents. They’ve had their necks kneeled on. They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear. @propublica.org @nicolefoy.bsky.social @ericumansky.bsky.social

More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

Washington DC needs statehood like never before.

Democrats have failed to prioritize it in the past. Maybe this latest authoritarian Trump move will wake them up.

Trans right ARE human rights! Thanks Gov. Walz. Giving up support for trans folk will not win any Republicans to vote for Democrats.
Gov. Tim Walz is doubling down on trans rights — and criticizing members of his party who are retreating — at a time when the issue has become a political lightning rod nationally and back home in Minnesota.

Happy Pride month, all! Way back in 2018 I made these galaxy pride flags. They were shared many thousands of times, featured on Vice, and even made their way onto book covers and into video games.

Here are the original ones I created (in no particular order!) so Bluesky can have them too. 💙

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

No one has heard from you in 43 days.

As vigil, I’m posting a photo of you every day until you are returned from El Salvador.

National security ain’t supposed to be a family affair, but apparently Pete Hegseth missed that memo.

Leaking classified military plans—TWICE—the second time on a personal Signal chat to friends and family? That man has no business being Defense Secretary. He’s a threat, not a leader.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed information about strikes in Yemen to a second unclassified Signal group chat that included his wife and brother, people familiar with the matter said. nyti.ms/4jBQ1wV

Watched "A Hidden Life" by Terence Malik on Hulu yesterday. Powerful, touching, beautiful story of an Austrian farmer who defies the draft in 1943 because the war is wrong and Hitler is evil. One small man standing up against tyranny. Wow.
