While royalties might seem like great passive income, apparently you can make $400/year w/10k in high yield savings account (I know, who can afford for that much money to just...sit). But considering that's more than I make in royalties on my first 3 books now, the comparison is depressing.

Anyways, I think men should get more comfortable with women having much more valuable skillsets than their partners sometimes and that it would be an unwise distribution of labor for the woman to cook and clean.
My partner’s friend came over for dinner & my partner cooked b/c he does the cooking. He works less than me & I’m a disabled primary breadwinner. Him cooking means I have more mental energy.
So, after we eat, I say this was so good, we should make it again. And his friend goes: You mean HE should?

My biggest problem writing my novel is I have spent countless hours this year workshopping conversations between characters, fleshing out members of the supporting cast, etc... and all of that has stayed in my head.

Personally, I think every nation should adopt a three year plan where everyone is allowed to move out to a region of the world they particularly like for geographical and political reasons, and then reinforce standard immigration policy and see what happens.
