At least one lightsaber duel in "Starfighter"?

Let's goooo, I can already hear a lot of people fuming at the fact that a SW film has SW tropes.

I don't know for y'all, but the idea of searching for a Force ghost is kinda stupid.

Ben's alright. He's now "more powerful than you can possibly imagine" even.
It would’ve been awesome if at the end of Episode IX, Ben Solo turned good, fought evil, and fulfilled his grandfather’s wish of saving people from death, all before moving into a state of immortality that had previously only been attained by six other people. And maybe Leia crosses over with him!

Finally starting Stranger Things S5

While it's a fact that the show lost its luster with each season when it comes to the "stranger" aspect of its success. It conversely found strength in the individual and communal growth of the ensemble with time. S5 highlights them well so far.

Maybe bringing back Palpatine was the laziest thing they could do for IX to raise the stakes, but it's clear the script to Duel of the Fates exposed how small the trilogy feels with Hux/Kylo as final bad guys.

Thematically interesting (sure) but ultimately underwhelming.
Also, the ending of Last Jedi does not suggest Kylo Ren is becoming more evil, it suggests he's starting to get that evil hasn't gotten him anything. Hux is being set up as the final bad guy.

Not only the music video mix for Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" is PEAK, Corbijn's direction is wonderfully simple yet evocative.

While I ADORE Wake Up Dead Man for grounding the Benoit Blanc series in a way that makes even Knives Out looks like a nice day at the park, rewatching the latter and Glass Onion back-to-back, after a couple of years, really is a one-two punch of absolute fun that just work for me. So good!

Ahh DotF, my old nemesis...

Structurally, the blueprint to TROS, but none of its highs and lows tho. Just a series of underwhelming ways to close the loop on the trilogy.

TROS can give itself a tap on the shoulder for at least having the kind of ambitions that are memorably both jarring and silly.
Random Fact: In Colin Trevorrow's "Duel of The Fates Script" it was revealed that Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren killed Rey's parents by Order of Snoke.

(In hindsight it COULD make sense given Rey is 18 and Kylo is 30 during the Sequel Trilogy)

I've been gone for 6 months from the SW fandom, and now that I'm back, it feels like I've missed a lot AND nothing at all at the same time...

Yup, I'm definitely home!
