That’s a great goal! I probably should have thought more “goal” than “dream” for mine. 😅

It may not feel possible to you right now, but I can definitely see it happening for you.

Just recalled a second one: have jms trust me to write an official Babylon 5 novel telling the life story of Kosh.

Yay! Art comms are so fun!

Direct support is still #1 (thanks for the reminder I need to do that more!) but for streaming I believe Tidal & Apple are the highest paying to artists and haven't set a minimum cut off. Of course, Apple has it's own issues (AI, etc.) but at least pays artists ok.

I’m guessing #2 is from experience and as (unfortunately) one of the least gym going people around even *I* know how incredibly rude that is! Seriously?!!!

The nerve of some people! 😡

I don't even think it's calculated, but like object impermanence with babies. He has Opinion Impermanence - unless someone in view has a strong opinion, he forgets what he's supposed to believe.

I've known people like him. Sincere held beliefs are basically whoever talked excitedly at them last.

And I don't think it's even a "mask slipping" moment. He simply wouldn't know a real opinion if it bit him. He agrees with whatever way the wind is blowing - not even public opinion-wise, but whichever way the wind is blowing in the specific conversation he's in!

Even when that wind is a wet fart.

Thank you!

Ends up tho that I developed it after we switched DMs, so I haven't had a chance yet to run it for anyone. 😭

So I'll enjoy it vicariously through posting it for others to play with and writing a story in it.😁

Also, I didn't see - but have you said what your strengths are as a writer?

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!

And your writing is absolutely beautiful, especially your magical, otherworldly moments which I have used to learn from in order to improve that side of my writing.

Me too, and I always thought I wouldn't be able to write anything with a lot of emotion other than action/adventure... until I tried!

Still a lot of areas I need to improve but I've been happy that I at least seem able to capture that emotion well already. 😁

I tried to both keep it accessible for characters to visit like Planescape but also up the weird. Down the road I want to post more planar stuff and the vibes are very much Planescape x Welcome to Night Vale x Surrealist art.

(Even have a fake planar newspaper idea & some stuff written for it.)

I'm happy with the planar cosmology for Felcrown & Dragonmeet Bay. It ditches the D&D and Pathfinder very alignment-based Outer Planes for something more varied but oozing with flavor. With that it gives creatures like fiends and celestials more variety than pseudo-Christian Heaven & Hell.

Yikes! Save that boy!

(Also sending immune boosting thoughts your way! Feel better soon!)

Yes, that lie and what was in the note really is the defining moment in her backstory to who she is and what she has to work through.

I don't have too many really dark moments in that serial, but when I do, I surprise myself with how hard they are.
January 14, 2026 at 5:23 PM
Yes, realizing my answer to this had made me think I might need to do some introspection! 😅 (Although, another factor is most of MCs are generally pretty honest people.)

Plus I was debating whether to post something as heavy as Rachel's. That lie really defines much of her character and arc.
