As 1 of the 5 permanent members of the UN security council the UK should be calling for its urgent reform.
The Veto on international action by UNSC member states has been THE major block on action for Gaza.
The UNSC is no longer credible.

🚨The governments controversial plan to scrap jury trials for crimes with sentences of less than 3 years is a huge mistake, will make little or no difference to the backlog and will undermine and restrict one of the fundamental cornerstones of our democracy

WE MUST STOP IT

How can this be justice.
Evidence should be available to PA & their lawyers otherwise it's just hearsay.
The UK government closed the final day of the judicial review into Palestine Action by presenting secret evidence, hidden from both the group’s lawyers and the public, to justify its ban on the direct-action organisation.

Just for absolute clarity, the government’s proscription of Palestine Action is a self-evident farce, deeply unethical and morally bankrupt. It is an unforgivable waste of time and resources, and makes them look both deeply unserious and as ideologically compromised as they clearly are.

agree . That was my 1st thought. I know there’s a huge backlog of cases but it would be too easy for this gov to use this backlog as a vehicle to further erode our rights.
This and proscribing Palestine Action is quite shocking.
European friends are astonished at this.
