i think it's worse than this. the Republican Party as an institution has thoroughly discredited itself as either interested in or capable of being trustworthy with respect to basic democratic governance

As I watch with relief the scenes of prisoner exchanges in Gaza, I'm immediately filled with the rage of a thousand suns knowing that Biden COULD HAVE DONE THIS A YEAR AGO, spared tens of thousands of lives, injuries, orphaned babies, AND it would have given him the election. Instead, Trump 2.0.

I believe he is.
Biden claimed to believe he is, too. But Biden & many top Dems didn't actually believe it.
