I want to point out something important about measles. When you search for images, white people with readily apparent rashes almost always come up. For people of color, the rash may be less red and harder to see. It can be purple, grey, or white in color, or it can appear as a darker brown rash.

1st learned about libertarianism around probably 2014 ish? I feel like I missed something big about it. My very basic understanding of it was: - gov't, power of law back to states, no taxes, encouraging industry competition, people free to live as they choose as long as it's not harming others 1/

Currently watching #COSA city council session & very heartened to see so many women and POC in council. Unfortunately never followed politics (mostly due to nihilistic views of politicians in general) but city gov is very specifically speaking to actual concern for cooperation for good of citizens

I'm not at all worried about getting mistakenly detained by #ICE, thabks to my complexion and lack of accent. But my Dad is clearly brown, and still has a thick accent. I expect he will preemptively carry his passport with him at all times. 1/
