That's how much Big Oil has spent over the last 30 years paying off Congress to look the other way on climate action while the planet burns.

Well, the planet is burning.
Don't let them look away.

To all the Christians and catholics out there of any politics - Remember that Jesus and his parents were immigrants. Let's try to treat them a bit better in America.

Something new about me, I really enjoy spicy things. Whether it's Samyang Korean Fire Noodles, spicy curries, chili, or you name it. I've also enjoyed hot ones and hot ones sauces but found them mild. TIL they've been lying about how hot their sauces are.

It's just not a good movie, cheating takes place too and we're supposed to be fine with it cuz "love"
Just watched Love Actually for the first time and I didn’t love it, actually.

Every male character in the film sexually harasses / “falls in love with” or / has an inappropriate relationship with every woman who works with him??

More female producers, writers and executives, please.

The shutting down of the AMOC is a huge problem more people need to know about. Climate change will radically change the face of Europe and the east coast unless we intervene
How Atlantic circulation will respond to warming has been an active topic of study for many decades.

Each new individual study should be taken within the larger context of that field. That’s why I follow @rahmstorf.bsky.social and I recommend his latest talk here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mm_Y...

Wise words. It is in no way worth even considering at this time. The ONLY way forward is the elimination of fossil fuel based energy generation
Industrial carbon capture technology is getting lots of hype and investment, but sadly it just doesn't work. And it distracts us from what does.

It reminds me of cryptocurrency. Lots of hype and money flowing, but no meaningful use case.
