Remember when Republicans acted like Lincoln.
No …
Me neither, before I was born the Dixiecrats took over and ran the Party into the ground! Now everything they do is for power and control. This is NOT my grandfather’s GOP.

Trump just got a third Air Force 1.

He's building a $200m ballroom at the White House.

His personal economy is doing great.

But for average Americans? Sadly, not so much.

Booker: "We have a president who did nothing as people stormed our Capitol, & then when those people who viciously beat police & led to some of their deaths - therefore cop killers - were convicted, he pardoned them. So for him to be talking about responsive law enforcement is hypocritical at best"

People often stop me in the street (never happened) and ask: “What do people like on Bluesky?”

“Mountains and flowers,” comes my reply.

I remember the good old days when Secretaries of Defense didn’t insert themselves unsolicited into domestic politics on a daily basis. Not what the job is supposed to be about.

We will not win the battle for democracy if those in the pro-democracy movement prize caution over taking risks. We cannot permit ourselves to be deterred by the defeats and public criticism that are inevitable along the long path of restoring democracy. Now is the time for fearless leadership.
The Survival of Democracy Depends on Our Willingness to Fight
Justice Riggs is right. We should not have to fight for democracy. But the reality is that we must.

I’ve watched too many of these raids to count. This one is one of the most infuriating in recent memory.

If you're a billionaire, then you'll barely notice a few thousand dollars a year in higher prices at the store from these Trump tariffs - plus you can count on him to get you another big tax break for the wealthy.

But for everyone else, this is a big deal, and a bad one.
