Among many things, Alex Pretti was a cyclist. His bike shop Angry Catfish in Minneapolis organized a memorial ride for him, and it's gone nationwide. This Saturday, the Damp Roads folks + a few local shops are organizing the Philly version. Let's show up for Alex. www.instagram.com/p/DUDaFwUjpfQ/

Love to see WNR featured in Dan Powers' roundup of his epic bike goals for 2025. Dan's ride was a highlight of the year. LOL at "WNR is managed extremely professionally," tho 😂 Shout out to our 100% volunteer crew who makes these rides happen! www.thetrellisphilly.com/2025-ride-go...

Unearthed footage of the first Tour de Wawa, four years ago today on Jan 12 2022. I love this video

Karen took this nice photo of the group gathering at the start (a.k.a. Wawa #1). I found it pretty inspiring that about 100 people showed up to ride bikes past Wawas and remember Andrea

I'm an optimist, but I was still astonished how many people turned up for the Holiday Lights Ride last night. It rained for the four hours before the ride! Yet I'd guess around 200 people, maybe more, came out to roll through the illuminated streets of South Philly. Just wild.

Do you like our logos? They're by @martharichart.bsky.social, and you're in luck - her show "It's Always Today" opens tonight at Paradigm Gallery + Studio, 12 N 3rd St, up through Dec 28. If you swing by, tell her thanks from WNR! www.paradigmarts.org/collections/...

More details TK, but next week's ride will be our *5th* year partnering with @bcgp.bsky.social on their long-running Holiday Lights Ride. Still a joy to be part of such a fab ride! (and cool to see regular Mary featured in the photo this year). Register: give.bicyclecoalition.org/event/holida...

Last night was radiant. 100 glowing souls cycled around Philadelphia and paused in the prettiest spots. Many thanks to the Circuit Trails Coalition for the excellent pre-party - certainly the first time we had tacos, drinks and a bike valet at our meet-up spot. 📸 by Stefan, Karen, Alec (I think)

Last night's Sixth Sense ride (2nd ed) was fab. The rain held off, and around 100 people came out, many in costume, for our tour of eight filming locations from the movie. Thanks to all who joined, and to the volunteer marshals who helped make the ride happen and kept us safe and on course!

Last night was the first night of October, and it felt like the first night of fall. We had, I'm not sure, maybe 70-80 people for this ride through the Riverwards? I didn't take any good pictures, but here's a nice one from @0x6772.bsky.social of us taking over Campbell Square (our midpoint)

Last night's ride was extremely cool. The rain stopped! We had, I don't know, I didn't count, maybe 70? excellent humans who rode a very cool vinyl-adjacent route before ending at a record lounge in Old City. A++, would ride again

Always love to spot a WNR bike in the wild. (The spoke cards were limited edition but another batch is in the works; Stefan & Peter usually have stickers)
