The episode of Space:1999 called Dragon's Domain. The way it swallowed them whole and spat out corpses creeped me out for ages. Really strong stuff for 1970's afternoon TV in the UK.

Mine has to be the Duderstadt class from Picard Season 3. I've never seen a starship look so angry.

So the temperature this morning when I let the hound out was minus 4 centigrade. It did mean that the sky was really clear so I snapped a picture of the constellation of Orion and a snap of the moon.

I realised that I'm much older than I thought when visiting the UK from rural Canada. I turned on BBC Radio 2 thinking it would be like coming back to an old comfortable blanket of nostalgia. First song was by KPop Demon Hunters. It was with a resigned sigh that I tuned to BBC Radio 4 instead.

Flew back to the UK in Premium Economy on British Airways and can honestly say that I'm now ruined for travel in the future. So much room, food was great and a lot of space to recline. Also, my bum didn't start to go numb until six hours into the flight! Well done @britishairwayteam.bsky.social

Was referred to a specialist orthodontist in a city two hours away for root canal as it was too complex for my dentist. Came out of the appointment and wife asks how I feel. I explain it feels like I just had my jawline reamed by a needle file for 90 minutes. She justifiably branded me cranky pants.
