Hi! I'm Wes, and I'm a queer disabled author and artist with a penchant for the weird and upsetting. I dabble in all sorts of things, though I have a specific love for queer horror and fabric arts!

Welcome to the shitshow!
Doing research for the book I'm writing and absolutely losing it over this glove ad from the early 1900's. Why is staring straight at the camera? Why is he saying that?

Here's a small good thing you can do all month long.

Two, actually.

1. Like, share, and comment on any library post featuring Pride books or messaging that's positive. You can influence the algorithm for good.

2. Write a letter to your library board thanking the library for Pride displays.

Get a library card. Use it. Talk positively about the library to friends and on social media. Go to city council and library board meetings. Speak up. Vote in local elections. Pay attention to state legislation and call your representative. Donate to Friends of the Library.
What are the best ways for members of the public to support libraries now? To the extent the answer differs, how can we best support librarians too?

you gotta stop being afraid to write something bad. bad writing is an art form and it still requires you to write something down

Life gets a lot better when you realize your writing can be about... whatever you want. Like, I can spend three hours writing a second-person short story about a bee and that's just... allowed. No one can stop me. Free will is great.

Hi friends, I know there's a lot happening in the world but this one is a really good friend of mine, so if you're able, anything would be associated ❤️

all art is made from spite or horniness, and a computer cannot be spiteful or horny, so a computer should never make art

If you are an author, a publisher, or a “literary agent” and you are FOR banning books, may I humbly suggest you FIND A NEW JOB? 🙃

If you’re looking for a free way to support an author, did you know you can ask your library to stock a book you want to read that they don’t have yet? And usually it’s a very basic online form? Google your library name plus the words “request a title” or “suggest a title” to find yours.
