DRC the resource rich but poor country, recent news reports suggest Trump administration is in negotiations with Tshisekedi government of DRC for resource and military partnership.
DRC estimates of untapped resources is more than 20 trillion dollars, now let that sink in.

Reforms, overhaul, change etc are sometimes very unpopular, it comes with many challenges, but when implemented properly the end goal is normally worth the painful effort.
Nigeria is a major oil producing country but have struggled over the years to establish a reliable & stable refinery of its own
