The *best* writing advice I can give is that if you think "this is OK" while writing, your audience will think it's just OK.

So the reward for a company having an almost miraculously aspirational commercial and artistic year at the box office is to be bought by the one company with the most incentive (and seeming desire) to wipe movie theaters off the map?
