Incredible.

Jack Posobiec references the earliest version of antifa -- the anti-fascists in the Weimar Republic who were opposed to the Nazi Party -- as the bad guys.

When we have prevailed...(and...we will)...and are engaged in a vigorous and unending process of protecting what we saved, doing so with a ferocity we hadn't been for decades, be one of those who is unquestionably able to say, "I never gave in. I didn't allow my position to slip so much as an inch."

Believing the lie is a test of commitment, the wilder the lie, the more intense the commitment. As I keep saying, all this stuff is obviously paving the way for violence. “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities,” etc.

Part of the transition from conservatism to authoritarianism is the shift from lies with some veneer of plausibility (wink wink) to lies that are demonstrably, obviously lies, such that accepting them involves an almost total subjugation of individual discernment or judgment.

Folks — this is not a normal government shut down.

Let me explain the stakes and how we got here.

Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

Trump is a dick to basically everyone at all times and he won elections and radically transformed American politics in less than a decade, so look I really don't understand the whole "Katie Porter must now be canceled because she was a tad snippy" thing

75% of Labor Department workers are furloughed during Trump’s shutdown.

That means millions of workers will have fewer watchdogs on the beat to ensure job safety, crack down on wage theft, and enforce labor protections.

And the so-called “pro-worker president” is to blame.

This is capitulation. It is not the "Department of War." If CNN concedes on this point, they'll concede on any point.

CNN is now using the Trump preferred “Department of War” name in its official statements

An interviewer asked me about America's "cost of living crisis," and I was struck again by how casually we've let such profoundly nightmarish phrases slip into our everyday lexicon.

Pritzker: "It's unconscionable. This has never happened before. They're calling out troops onto the streets of a state that doesn't want them and they're not even telling us where they're gonna go, what they're gonna do. This hasn't happened I don't think since the Civil War."

Obviously there is minority support for Trump here...but this is also shockingly low opposition for the idea that the President can turn the military on American cities on a whim.

70% of Republicans think the President should be able to send troops into a city even if the Governor objects!

58% of Americans - including half of Republicans - think the president should send armed troops only to face external threats, a sign of unease as President Donald Trump increasingly deploys National Guard troops to police American cities, a @reuters.com poll found.

There’s a strain of brain rot where people begin to see everything as a “false flag.”

Such paranoia voids reality itself because all things become extremely suspicious. Good news is bad news, etc.

Skepticism is healthy, but False Flag Brain—aka 4D Chess Brain—is political dementia.
