Weiss believes she is engaged in a game in which the point is self-aggrandizement, and that everyone else is involved in that same game, and she fundamentally cannot *understand* criticism on the grounds of integrity or virtue.
The most telling Bari Weiss incident came when "The Free Press" excused George Floyd's murder, @radleybalko.bsky.social highlighted factual errors, and Weiss's reaction was not to make corrections, but to invite Balko on a podcast.

There is no truth, there are no standards, there is only content.
Every part of this is embarrassingly lame.

I am sure there is an addendum to project 2025 that plans every detail of dealing with the death or disablement of Trump.
I firmly believe that when Trump dies, before the end of his term, the public will not be informed until after the people running this show have buried him, sworn in Vance and put things the way they want them. He is weaker mentally and physically every day.

Smith: We had also interviewed Boris Epshteyn… He corroborated that they were, in fact, trying to call senators. He dissembled and tried to imply that the president hadn’t directed him to do it, even though there was a text message saying specifically that they had.

Question: But the president’s statements that he believed the election was rife with fraud—those are statements protected by the First Amendment, correct?

Smith: Absolutely not. If they are made to target a lawful government function and are made with knowing falsity, then no, they are not.

1/ Tina Peters is in prison for criminally breaching election security, not for exposing fraud. No court, audit, or investigation found widespread voter fraud in Colorado. Mail-in voting in Colorado has existed for years, is used by voters across parties, and has been upheld by courts.

Smith: He was getting calls from people he trusts, people he relies on—and he still refused to come to the aid of the people at the Capitol. That’s very important evidence for criminal intent in our case.

You don't fight tooth and nail to stop an investigation or the displaying of files and photos that courts have ordered shown to the public if you don't have something to hide. There must be things in the Epstein files that scare the hell out of him.

The only one Trump is fooling is himself.
