The artist John Piper was born #OTD 13 December 1903. His work can be regularly found in churches restored after WWII bombing, for example at All Saints, Clifton, Bristol, where he painted the River of Life and the Tree of Life in situ, directly onto sheets of fibreglass. 1/3
