When I was 22, I worked at a small newspaper covering a farmworker town on the Central Coast. I met a couple from the Catholic Worker movement who lived in the town, poor AF, helping the migrants. It blew my mind because it was the first time in my life I'd ever seen Christians acting like Jesus.

Veterans all over the country who are married to immigrants are no longer respected by the Trump administration. For decades a person married to a US citizen was afforded a path as part of the "American dream" and now Trump has destroyed that peace once felt by generations of citizens.
