Whatever you might think of Maduro, the seizure and kidnapping of a head of state takes us to a very dark place. Vast, arbitrary, extra-legal power, which could be exercised almost anywhere, regardless of the character of the target government.

We're challenging this terrible Labour Government.

And we're ready to take on Reform.

I spoke with the Guardian:

This time last year Polanski was barely known outside the party. Now he’s hoping for success at May’s local elections – by taking a page from Nigel Farage’s playbook

Question to Zach Polanski at the leadership announcement:

"Q: How can you take on Nigel Farage when your policy on immigration is so different?"

Everything wrong with British politics and media summed up so succinctly in a single absolutely unhinged question.

JTAC found just 3 of 385 PA protests *may* cross the threshold of terrorism

starmer banned them anyway (after pressure from Elbit, Lord Walney & the 🇮🇱embassy) just as public sympathy for 🇵🇸 surged

Not because PA grew more dangerous but because its message did

If we have a functioning legal system, if, those arrests for supporting Palestine Action really oughtn't to stick. Protesting the absurdity of proscribing Palestine Action isn't the same as encouraging support for Palestine Action.

The Telegraph today carries a news story about someone paying £7.4 million for a handbag (Hello, Lady Bracknell!). And an opinion piece describing a wealth tax as a ‘moral abomination’. What a time to be alive.

Just received news that 27 people have been arrested in Parliament Square under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action".
This is real police state behaviour.
