Last week, PEN America released its fourth annual report on the state of book banning and censorship in America, and I learned that Last Night at the Telegraph Club was the fourth most banned book in schools during the 2024-25 school year. How do I feel about it? www.malindalo.com/blog/2025/10...

When I was growing up, my mom gave me a sewing box which I still use today, always reminds me of her. Included in the box was this small home-made pin cushion.

I took this photo during the pandemic while making masks because I liked the shadows. Added the shadow dragon today. #ShadowArt #Uplift
A group of sewing pins stuck into a fabric pincushion cast a shadow on paper that looks like flowers on a grassy hillside. Added digitally: a small shadow dragon, hovering nearby. Two bobbins with thread are also visible.
